As a team, we work hard to give back to the community. Every month we give money to a charity called Bleakholt. This organization works to help animals in need who have no one else to turn to.

We are also proud sponsors of Accrington Stanley Women's FC 2025/26. At SJF we are proud to be able to have the opportunities to support local teams and businesses within the county and give back to our local area. 

The company was originally founded in 1970 by Don Iddon, a skilled electrician from Blackburn. The company quickly earned a reputation for quality and reliability. In 2018, the business was acquired by Kevin Spink, an experienced electrician from Darwen with over 35 years of experience in the industry. Kevin now leads the company alongside his wife Joanne, who serves as company secretary.
